What is AI visibility and how is it different from SEO?
AI visibility is whether an AI assistant names your business when someone asks it for a recommendation in your category. SEO tries to rank a page in a list of links. AI visibility tries to get your business named inside a written answer, where there is no list and usually no click. The two overlap, because structured, consistent, specific information feeds both, but they are measured differently and they fail differently.
Do I need a new website to work with you?
No. Signal works on the site you already have, including Shopify, Squarespace, Wix, and existing WordPress installs. If the site itself is the thing holding you back, the audit will say so plainly, and Novasite can rebuild it. That is a separate decision, not a requirement.
How long before I see results?
Most clients see the first measurable movement between months three and six. Technical fixes and Google Business Profile work can show up sooner, sometimes within the first few weeks. Content, citations, and entity work compound, so the curve gets steeper later rather than earlier.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
Ongoing Growth retainers have a six month initial term, then continue month to month with 30 days written notice. The Signal Audit and Signal Foundation are one-time engagements with no ongoing commitment at all.
What if I already have someone doing my SEO?
Start with the Signal Audit. It is fixed price and independent, and it will tell you whether the work you are already paying for is producing anything. If your current provider is doing good work, you will have proof of it, and we will say so.
Do you work with businesses outside Pittsburgh?
Yes. We are based in Pittsburgh and work with clients across the United States and internationally. AI visibility work is not location dependent, and local presence work follows whatever markets you actually serve.
